FAQ: CUSTOM MOSAIC MIRRORS
AVAILABILITY:
Most mosaic mirrors are made to order -- meaning they are not pre-made or "in stock." Each is handcrafted when an order is placed and made according to your specific size, shape, and color needs.
I usually have a very limited number of mirrors that are in stock. Mirrors in stock can be seen here.

WHAT SHAPES ARE AVAILABLE?
Round, Oval, Rectangle, Square
WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
Round mirrors - 12, 18, 24, or 30" diameter
Oval mirrors - 12 x 18", 18 x 24", 24 x 30"
Square - 18 x 18" , 24 x 24" , 30 x 30"
Rectangle - 17 x 19", 18 x 24" , 20 x 28", 24 x 30
Larger / custom sizes are available. Contact me for pricing. Please note, shipping larger mirrors is very, very expensive. Anything over 36" usually has to be shipped freight (comparable to when furniture is delivered). I am happy to provide a price quote, but please keep this in mind.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
In order to figure out what size mirror would look best in your existing space, I recommend using wrapping paper or newspaper cut to size and taping to the wall. You can also outline the space with painter's tape. This will give you a visual on how big the mirror will be and how it will look on the wall.
WHAT SIZE IS THE MOSAIC BORDER?
All mirrors have a 3" mosaic border. This can be adjusted if you would like more mosaic and less mirror OR more mirror and less mosaic.
WHAT ARE THE COLOR OPTIONS?
I have dozens of colors in stock so the color combination possibilities are endless! Not sure on which colors would look best? I can provide recommendations and send samples. Read on for more info.
CAN I GET SAMPLES BEFORE ORDERING?
I am happy to provide complimentary color samples so you can choose your colors in person. Here's how it works… you tell me what general colors you are interested in, provide a photo of the space where the mirror will hang, etc. and I will put together a tile set.
Please note that each computer monitor is different so I highly recommend having a free sample set sent. Also, I use tiles with different finishes -- which are sometimes hard to capture in a photograph.

HOW DOES THE MIRROR HANG?
If your mirror is square or rectangular, your mirror will come with a french cleat. If your mirror is round or oval, your mirror will come with two D rings and picture wire. Both require minimal “installation.” Instructions included.
WHAT DO THE SIDES AND BACK OF THE MIRROR LOOK LIKE?
The sides and back of your mosaic mirror are painted. I am happy to color match the paint on your walls. Simply provide the brand and color number. If no color is requested, I will use a paint color that compliments the colors in your mirror.
WHEN WILL MY MIRROR SHIP?
Due to the handcrafted and custom nature of these items, custom mosaic mirrors can take up to four weeks to create and ship. If you need something sooner, please contact me. Rush orders are sometimes possible.
HOW DOES MY MIRROR SHIP?
Mirrors are shipped UPS with insurance and tracking.

FAQ: CUSTOM MOSAIC HOUSE NUMBER SIGNS
AVAILABILITY:
All custom mosaic house numbers are made to order -- meaning they are not pre-made or "in stock." Each is handcrafted when an order is placed and made according to your specific address, size, and color needs.
WHAT STYLES ARE OFFERED?
Mosaic signs can be created either with black metal numbers with a mosaic background, or tiled glass numbers with a mosaic background. Metal numbers are 5" in height and vary in width according to the digit.
Signs can be horizontal or vertical.
Images (such as starfish, palm trees, sailboat, etc. can be added.)
WHAT SIZE ARE THE NUMBERS?
Numbers, whether black metal or tiled, are 5" in height and vary in width according to the digit.
WHAT IS THE OVERALL SIZE OF THE SIGN?
Overall sign size is determined by the number of digits in your address + desired hanging orientation.
For signs that are just numbers (i.e. no image) the dimensions are:
- 1 Digit Square - 9 x 9”
- 2 Digits Horizontal - 8 x 15”
- 2 Digits Vertical - 7 x 13”
- 3 Digits Horizontal - 8 x 17”
- 3 Digits Vertical - 7 x 19”
- 4 Digits Horizontal - 8 x 20”
- 4 Digits Vertical - 7 x 24”
- 5 Digits Horizontal - 8 x 22”
- 5 Digits Vertical - 7 x 30”
*Note: As each sign is custom made by hand all dimensions listed are approximate. Sign size can usually be customized.
HOW DO I INSTALL MY SIGN?
There are two ways that your sign can be installed. When ordering, please choose from the following options:

Hanging = your sign will come with two D rings; your sign is meant to hang on the side of your home
- Permanent = your sign will come with two holes drilled + masonry screws; your sign is meant to be permanently installed flush to the side of your home
ARE SIGNS WEATHERPROOF?:
Yes! Signs are made on wedi board, which is weather and waterproof. All tiles and adhesives used are made for outdoor use in all weather climates -- direct sun, frost / freeze, rain, snow, heat, humidity, etc. Signs are sealed several times for protection and exterior grade paint is used on the back and sides.
WHAT ARE THE COLOR OPTIONS?
I have dozens of colors in stock so the color combination possibilities are endless! Not sure on which colors would look best? I can provide recommendations and send samples. There has to be enough contrast between the numbers and the background. So light colors with dark numbers or dark colors with white numbers look best.

WHAT DO THE SIDES AND BACK LOOK LIKE?
The sides and back of your mosaic are painted with an exterior grade paint in a matching color.
CAN I ADD AN IMAGE?
Images (starfish, sailboat, flower, palm tree, etc.) can be added to your sign for an additional charge.
WHEN WILL MY SIGN SHIP?
Custom mosaic address plaques take 3 weeks to create and ship. If you need something sooner, please contact me. Rush orders are sometimes possible.
HOW DOES MY SIGN SHIP?
Address signs are shipped UPS or USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking.
